I'm not sure how the teeth idea came around...The sorta distressed expression and surreal nature (Actually, maybe it only looks distressed because it has no lips) may have come from some Ralph Steadman drawings I saw (Which is some freaky stuff)
The other one was a bit of playing with composition.
